Hey, I’m Jesvin! I’m a multidisciplinary creative who loves turning ideas into things people can see, experience, and connect with. My work spans graphic design, digital media, marketing, video, and everything in between.
I’m naturally curious and always experimenting. I lot of my work starts with:
“what if I tried this?”
Whether I’m building a visual, developing an idea, or solving a problem, I love finding creative ways to make things just a little more interesting.
I’ve been creating things for as long as I can remember.
I was born in India and grew up in the U.S., and creativity has been a part of my life for about as long as I can remember. I was the kid who could turn just about anything around the house into something new. Give me an old belt, a flashlight, some rope, and a little imagination, and suddenly I was a rock climber scaling the walls of our apartment. When my dad had a home office, I made my own, complete with a laptop, keyboard, and mouse made entirely out of paper. I’ve always loved taking what’s in front of me and imagining what else it could become.
As I got older, that imagination found its way into art and eventually digital media. I began earning recognition for my artwork in school, but discovering digital design was the real turning point. What started with learning Adobe Photoshop quickly grew into graphic design, apparel design, social media, and video and audio production. Along the way, mentors at school and Victory Church helped me turn that curiosity into practical creative skills and gave me opportunities to put them to work.
My path from there wasn’t exactly a straight line, and I’m glad it wasn’t.
I originally went to college to pursue a career in healthcare, earning my B.S. in Biomedical Sciences and spending several years working in the field. But the creative part of me never went away. If anything, my time in healthcare taught me to look for problems, rethink processes, communicate with different kinds of people, and leave things better than I found them.
Eventually, I realized I wanted creativity and innovation to be more than something I did on the side. I returned to school and earned my M.S. in Entrepreneurship in Applied Technologies, where I learned to connect creativity with business, strategy, innovation, and the needs of an audience. At the same time, I continued expanding my work across graphic design, digital media, ministry, and projects for clients and organizations.
Today, I bring all of those experiences together. I love taking an idea, message, or problem and figuring out how to turn it into something people can see, understand, and connect with. I’m always learning, experimenting, and
looking for the next opportunity to make something a little better than I found it!
